Brian Gosser

Brian (B.S., M.A.) serves as Chief Program Officer for Obria Medical Clinics Oregon, where he leads Optimal Fatherhood, a program dedicated to equipping and encouraging men to become engaged, intentional, and healthy fathers. Brian believes fatherhood is one of the most powerful influences on the future of our families and communities and that every man has the potential to become a great dad. Brian has served in pastoral ministry for more than 28 years, with ministry experience in Oregon, Idaho, and California. He currently serves as a teaching pastor in Lebanon, Oregon. He has also coached high school football since 1993, giving him more than three decades of experience mentoring and developing young men both on and off the field. Throughout his career, Brian’s work has centered on strengthening families, developing young people, and helping men understand the significance of their influence in the lives of their children. Brian has been happily married to his wife, Kaitlin, since 2013, and together they are raising their daughter.

Michael Finlay

Michael is our Regional Program Coordinator at Optimal Fatherhood. Michael is also a parenting educator, coach, and advocate for fatherhood. He runs This is Fatherhood, LLC and This is Fatherhood Blog in addition to his work with Optimal Fatherhood and Boot Camp for New Dads. Michael is committed to building a community of fathers and parents that are fully engaged with their children and families. He is a father of an amazing son and daughter and is happily married to his high school sweetheart. Michael is excited about sharing the highs and lows of parenting with others so that he can also be the best dad for his kids.  He is also a kid trapped in an adult body and loves coaching his kids’ baseball and softball teams in his spare time.

Loren Robinson

Loren is the Program Director for Optimal Fatherhood. He has worked in both the corporate world and with churches in the youth, music and education areas. He and his wife served as missionaries in Germany for 14 years with International Mission Board teaching at Black Forest Academy and later working on a training and church planting team. Loren and Susan have one son and two grandchildren. He is looking forward to this next phase of ministry helping dads be better dads.

Juan Valenzuela

Juan is our Lead Facilitator at Optimal Fatherhood. Juan was born in Hawaii, spent his childhood in the California Bay Area, and moved to Oregon in high school. Juan is an Army National Guard Veteran and happily married to his wife Dawn since 1993. Together they share 2 adult children, son and daughter, and 2 grandchildren. Juan has spent the last 25 years in retail, manufacturing and industrial management. Juan has coached youth football, basketball and volleyball for 10 years. Juan describes being a facilitator in the Optimal Fatherhood program as his calling in life and is excited to help men discover the mindset and skills to be a great dad. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with my family camping, hunting, fishing and cooking.
